The Greenwell’s introduce Solsa to Decatur

Today the City of Decatur, Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Corporation and Paco and Ryan Greenwell will announce the remodel of a 2,800 Square Foot Solsa American Burrito Company on Decatur’s North Side. This is project will employ 15-20 workers and plans to open in June.   A Southwest Fast Casual concept is the most requested restaurant in the City of Decatur.  The City held a retail feedback tour in the summer of 2014 and ongoing feedback is given on with Southwest Fast Casual Concept remaining on top.

“We truly believe that diners will love the ability to design every layer of their meals. Fresh, quick and flavorful. There will truly be something for everyone. You can eat healthy, not-so-healthy or anywhere in the middle. You decide.” said Paco Greenwell owner Solsa American Burrito Company.

“We are very excited to see the Greenwell family succeed and expand.  We all love Paco’s Award winning concept downtown and can’t wait to see what is in store for us at Solsa. Diversifying our restaurant offerings is a must, but when it is one of our own Decatur Made businesses it makes it extra special!” said Mayor Julie Moore Wolfe, City of Decatur.

“We welcome Solsa: American Burrito Company to our list of locally owned and operated restaurants. This off shoot of Paco’s Sol Bistro adds a unique dining experience with made from scratch ingredients that we have come to expect from Paco Greenwell.” said Mirinda Rothrock, President for Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce.

“Investments and developments like this are critical to creating a strong quality of life for our residents.  An overall increase of job opportunities helps support diverse retail and restaurant opportunities.  We are appreciative of Paco’s commitment to Decatur and his additional investment.  His stellar reputation will help make his venture a success.” said Ryan McCrady, President for the Economic Development Corporation of Decatur and Macon County.

Solsa is a "build it your way", made-from-scratch concept. The menu will consist of burritos, tacos, salads, nachos, layered mac n cheese, loaded tots and chips & dips.  We will feature both Mexican and American toppings and fillers, creating our own unique take on an otherwise popular concept.
